Staff ... associated instructors are, by far, the most experienced professionals working in the metro Richmond, VA area.
Ambiance ... the studio's atmosphere is elegant without peer, yet casual. It feels good just being in the spacious lounge area, watching ballroom exhibition DVDs on wide-screen, or moving to great music out on our air-conditioned, cushioned dance floors.
Attitude ... the firm belief at Lessons is ... 'Better Ballroom Dancers Have More Fun'. We do whatever is positive to enhance the learning, practice and dance party experiences of our patrons. At Lessons in Ballroom, people are excited by good dancing.(Q) Can I learn ballroom dancing and have fun without a partner?
(A) Yes! We usually have experienced dancers assisting those who don't have partners for classes and especially at Friday night activities.
(Q) Do I have to pay in advance?
(A) No! Most classes accept payment upon arrival.
(Q) Are Dance Parties at 'Lessons' open to the public?
(A) Dance Parties are open to enrolled students to practice and apply the dance skills they've learned. Enrollment only takes a minute.
(Q) Can I enroll in a class series already in progress?
(A) Yes! Most class series cover different material at different class meetings.
(Q) The class I want doesn't fit my schedule, or I don't see the class I want being offered. How can I learn what I want at low cost?
(A) Get some friends or colleagues together and arrange a private group lesson.
Example: a group of 4 splitting a $60 private lesson would incur an individual cost
of $15 each and get an hour of customized instruction. This is very often a better value than
waiting for a class to start and paying $8 each to be in a group of 20 students. Private lessons are available
seven days a week, between 10am and 10pm. Come by, call the studio at 804.377.6947,

(Q) Is there a dress code?
(A) No! However, some people still want brief suggestions, so ...
