Many children are now choosing to participate in DanceSport which offers opportunities to develop advanced skills and earn recognition by competing with other young athletic dancers. Like soccer, DanceSport competition has been very popular in Europe and Asia for decades and is now beginning to catch on in the US.

DanceSport is now an alternative to gymnastics or cheerleading. There are dozens of DanceSport competitions within driving distance from Richmond. DanceSport competitions are sanctioned throughout the world and many believe DanceSport will soon be included in the Olympics.
